Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) is a highly prestigious postgraduate medical qualification in Pakistan. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to take the FCPS Part 1 examination, candidates must have completed their MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC). They should also have completed a one-year house job in an institution recognized by the CPSP, out of which six months should be in their chosen specialization field. It’s important to note that deficiency in the house job period could be compensated by equal time in residency. Additionally, Ensure that the candidate is registered with the PMDC or PMC and has a valid registration certificate, which should be submitted along with the application. Two years of residency training in any of the CPSP recognized institutions is also required to apply for the FCPS examination, which should be obtained after completing the one-year internship. Candidates who have passed the Part 1 examination are eligible to apply for the Part 2 examination.

Exam pattern
The FCPS examination consists of two parts: Part 1 and Part 2. The Part 1 examination includes three parts: FCPS P1 written, FCPS OBG IMM Written, and FCPS OBG IMM TOACS. The Part 2 examination includes WRITTEN and CLINICAL parts.
